According to the recent research on obesity and weight control, regular exercising and being on a diet are not the only factors that help to prevent excess weight gain. Genetics, stress levels, metabolism, and sleep hours are also important factors. However, the most recent research has shown that with well-organized sleeping hours it is possible for people to avoid the bad effects of their genetics, as well as stress levels. The Department of Health from Washington University announced that longer sleeping hours are linked to better health, and those who sleep less are more likely to catch the obesity disease; especially if they are predisposed through their genetics. Nevertheless, sleeping more cannot make a person to lose weight – but if you are careful about your sleeping habits, you’ll notice you need a lot less exercise and diet modifications; to enjoy a healthy weight! Make sure you are getting at least 7 hours of good sleep each night for best results.
