Day 39: More energy with this whole food supplement

Liquiboost is helping, or I am benefiting from the placebo effect (whichever – I am happy!).  I guess the theory here is that the food based ingredients liquefy to absorb more efficiently than synthetic based ingredients…so your body actually assimilates all of the nutrients.

Whatever the case, my stomach doesn’t feel bloated anymore and my energy didn’t crash this afternoon (as it has for the last few days).

Day 36: A good day gone bad

This morning I got on the scale to find I have lost 2 lbs in just 4 days!!!

But this evening I am too afraid to add up my calories from a day of non-stop chowing – including six entire bags of Fried Pork Skins – single handedly wiping out the remaining stock of our local supermarket – apparently, they’re not a huge sales item in my golf-and-yuppie neighborhood. Go figure.

I ate all day.  I ate crap all day. I felt like crap.  How good can this possibly be?

Day 28: Diet Battle

I feel like a hormonal teenager…only not with any of that youthful energy.

-Realized something I already know (again):  nothing feels more soothing than some high-fat or high-sugar comfort food.  Today however, I did NOT give in!  I feel like I have been fighting a few battles lately and today I considered that this stupid “diet battle” (for lack of a better title) is probably the only one that strictly speaking; only involves me…there’s no other way around it!  I took an hour walk WITH the kids and it was great :)

Day 7: Ice-Cream

So far, writing down what I am eating is MAJORLY helping me!  Last night, my husband got out the Hagan Das ice cream.  All I could think about is how great that would taste – but the problem was; I know I would NOT just have one or two spoonfuls.  I have done so well on my new healthy diet (hehe…that sounds funny being that it has only been two days!)…but seriously, the last two days I have eaten more healthy than I probably have for years.  That was all I needed to think about to say no, and opt for a cut-up cucumber with a little salt.  I was totally excited to write down every food I ate, knowing I had now done this for almost THREE SOLID DAYS!

Day 6: Target 1500 calorie

To anyone who is reading this, I do NOT recommend trying on your old jeans at this stage…how depressing! I feel like I am the same width as I was 2 months ago.
I am writing down what I ate tonight and seeing if that helps me ward off sugar. Sugar is something I am totally and completely addicted to (admittedly) and I just read that it causes fat storage and cellulite??? Makes sense. Did you know that sugar was proven to be more addicting than heroin in a study done by John Hopkins University? Did you know that cigarettes have sugar?…hummmm, interesting
